The voice of the Badgers Matt Lepay is back with us this week as we discuss the Badgers overtime loss to Iowa this past Saturday.
Wisconsin's offense got off to a HOT start going 5 for 7 from 3 point distance, shooting 80% on their first 15 total shots in this game, and 14 assists in the 1st half but defensive lapses allowed Iowa to build confidence that they would carry throughout regulation and overtime.
Overall the Badgers had 46 points in the paint, 20 assists, and only 7 turnovers which is typically a winning formula for this Wisconsin basketball team but that wasn't the case Saturday.
The Badgers also struggled from the free throw line making 19 of 28 shots while Iowa went 24 for 30 from the charity stripe which would be a key factor in the Badgers falling in overtime.
