Cheese may be delicious, but is it worth $
8,400?

Recently, 24 pounds of Dutch Vermeer cheese
was auctioned for $8,400 -- that's 350 bucks a pound.

In case you were wondering, Dutch Vermeer is a low
fat Gouda -- and this particular wheel of cheese won
the World Champion Cheese contest in Madison,
Wisconsin -- beating out two cheeses from
Switzerland. (Washington Post)
