This Saturday at 10am is the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for the state-of-the-art video-enhanced multimedia exhibit called "Rick's Pick's: A Lifelong Affair with Guitars and Music". The exhibit is a fundraiser for Rick Nielsen's favorite hometown museum in Rockford, IL; The Burpee Museum of Natural History, 737 North Main Street, Rockford, IL 61103.  The museum exhibit has over 2000 items on display including 78 guitars, some donated by Rick's many friends in the Rock and Roll business, posters, gold records, song lyrics, clothing and promotional items.  the exhibit will remain on display through April 10th, 2013.  I've included the link to find out more about this weekends event and a link to Rick's Facebook page also....
